Well seeing as I like to drive so much..... I thought i'd get a car with everything hehe ;-)

3.6L, Straight 6, Digital Dashboard, Cruise Control, Air Conditioning, ABS, Auto Levelling Suspension, J Box, Full Cream Leather, Heated and All Electric Seats, Armrest lol, n well everything really....... and it was certainly a joy to drive, not just 'kickback' but 2nd kickback too, and boy did it go !

O.K. when you used to put your foot down it guzzled a bit, but to be honest..... it wasn't really that bad with fuel consumtion, especially compared to what i'm driving now

.......................................

And I had it during that fuel strike we had , and eventually I had to go n try n queue for petrol just because of the miles I used to clock up, and it was funny pulling upto the petrol station and getting a round of applause off the other drivers lol

.......................................

The first problem you get when you take one of these home is getting it in your garage, unfortunately these are too big to get into a standard garage, so I ended up ripping one end of the garage off so I could shut the garage doors !

.......................................

I did manage to find a 'cheaper' place to get any repairs done 'Top Cats' Coventry, all ex Jaguar mechanics, but with having a car with so many things to go wrong it did go wrong a few times.

After a couple of years I started to fancy getting another BMW but maybe a slightly newer shape to the e21, and as the bodywork bubbles appeared I decided I wasn't going to keep it much longer

.......................................

The HUUUUUUGE boot on this was great for two things............ for sitting on comfortably while filling up at the petrol station (used to take some time lol) and the other... is getting in an amaaaaazing sub enclosure ! I bought a pair of 15" Cerwin Vega's 1,200 Watts RMS each ! but never really had an amp anywhere big enough to drive them properley, but never the less they sounded absolutely awesome, on the printout of my enclosure design there was a figure of 140db , not bad at all as Concorde takes (sorry - took) off at 120 db (enclosure printout at bottom of page)

I sold the car to a lad who lived near Stratford (got a good price fir it too ;-) and his girlfriend finished with him n she got together with me for a while, brings a whole new meaning to the phraze 'part ex' lol

. .......................................

The car was scrapped a little while after selling it to him, he wrapped the 2 ton car round a BIG oak tree on the way into Stratford one night, pissed as a fart n lost control of it, you have never seen a car as banana shaped as this ended up !
